iPod Nano: What the Heck, Apple?!
Yeah, so I really don't know what to make of this new wave of Apple products. iPhone 5? I don't see much of a difference from the last generation. The new iPod Touch actually looks really nice. Maybe once I save up enough I'll upgrade from my iPod Touch... 2nd generation... The one thing that really bugs me is the evolution of the iPod Nano. Like, what? I don't even know where Apple is going with this product? It starts out with the basic scroll wheel with a rectangular shape. Then it's a square. Then it's a rectangle again. Then it starts getting colorful and by the 5th generation it has a camera. Then it's a tiny little rectangle thing with a touch screen and NO camera. Then it's back to the original shape with a touch screen AND camera. Please explain this to me. I don't understand.

3D Printers
So my ATEC TA showed this video in class today (or, like, 5 minutes ago). This is actually pretty amazing stuff. I can't even wrap my mind around how much work must be put into the project to make it work. Apparently, they're trying (or already are) to use this technology in the space program. If the astronauts need something, instead of shipping the item, they do 3D printing in the space shuttle. So if the astronauts don't have a wrench, they can print out a wrench. According to the TA, the most affordable one is around $1,700. That's not bad at all. He said that Quad C (Collin College) already has one. Why doesn't UTD have one?
